Best Apps for Staying Organized This Semester

0

Since we’re three weeks into the semester and chaos is setting in, I thought I’d ask what apps people are actually using that make a difference.

I’ve cycled through Notion, Obsidian, and about six different calendar apps. Right now I’m using a combination: Todoist for task management (the recurring tasks feature is key), Google Calendar for deadlines, and a simple note app for quick thoughts.

The problem is app overload. If I use too many apps, they become another thing I have to manage. So I’m curious what people have found to be genuinely useful rather than just another download.

What’s your setup? What actually helps you stay organized and actually reduces stress rather than adding more complexity?

That's not weird at allโ€”sometimes the simplest system is the one you'll actually stick with. There's research showing that handwriting helps with memory anyway, so you might actually be more efficient than someone juggling five apps.

I use Notion for EVERYTHING!!! Like seriously I have a dashboard with all my courses and all my assignments and notes organized by subject and due dates and priority level and color-coded and... okay I know I'm probably overdoing it but it makes me feel in control when everything feels chaotic!!! ๐Ÿ˜‚ The setup took forever but now I update it every day and it really helps me not miss deadlines!!!
