Log In to ReplyOMG SARA YES!!! This is literally the most helpful thread ever?? I've been using like half of these already but I didn't know about the others so thank you so much!! For med school prep I'd also recommend:
- osmosis.it (literally game-changing for anatomy and pathology, the animations are insane)
- sketchy medical (for pharmacology, super visual and memorable)
- lecturio (free version has tons of content)
- pathoma (expensive but WORTH IT if ur serious about med school)
Also for those of us in medicine, First Aid for the USMLE Step 1 prep is basically essential but SO expensive so maybe check your school library?? We get access through our university and it's saved me literally thousands of dollars. Also YouTube channels like Dirty Medicine and Med School Insiders are lifesavers! Your list is so comprehensive omg ๐ญ๐
yo sara mad respect for putting this together. for computer science stuff i'd add:
- geeksforgeeks (literally saved my life in data structures)
- visualgo.net for algorithm visualization (so fire)
- github has mad free coding tutorials
- udemy honestly has tons of free courses if u dig around
also shoutout to stack overflow even tho it can be kinda gatekeepy sometimes lol. ur list is fr one of the most useful threads on here ngl ๐ฅ
Excellent compilation, Sara. A few additional resources worth noting:
For mathematics and physics, MIT OpenCourseWare offers complete courses with lecture notes, exams, and solutions. The quality is exceptional.
For engineering specifically, I would recommend:
- Professor Leonard's calculus lectures (extraordinarily thorough)
- Circuitlab for circuit simulations
- TinkerCAD for 3D design and electronics simulation
For programming (which many students overlook):
- Codecademy free tier
- FreeCodeCamp on YouTube
- LeetCode free problems
Your organization is impressive and I appreciate the effort to create this resource guide.
Oh my gosh thank you so much Matteo!! I totally forgot about MIT OpenCourseWare - that's literally incredible that they just put all their courses online for free?? And I'll definitely add those engineering resources because programming is something I've been wanting to learn too! FreeCodeCamp looks amazing, the YouTube videos look super thorough. You're so helpful!! ๐
