How to email your professor about a grade you disagree with

After three years of trial and error I think I’ve finally figured out a system that works.

I spent way too much time on this honestly but I think it was worth it. The key insight is that there’s no one size fits all answer here. What works for one person might not work for another and that’s ok. The important thing is to find what works for you.

I’ve been lurking on this forum for months and finally decided to contribute because I see a lot of misinformation floating around. No shade to anyone but I think we owe it to each other to be accurate about this stuff.
