Rant: Why is the library coffee so expensive??

like seriously??? $6.50 for a latte?? thats literally insane. the coffee place off campus is like $4 and the coffee is actually better lol. i feel like the library knows theyre a captive market so they just charge whatever and we’re all stuck paying bc like sometimes u need coffee when ur studying and the outside place isnt open late
also the regular coffee is somehow worse than the espresso drinks even tho itll prob cost less? makes no sense
anyone else just making coffee at home now or is it just me

omg yes lorenzo!! I literally bought a little electric kettle and now I just bring my own coffee in a thermos from home haha. it saves SO much money and the coffee is actually good?? like the library is definitely overpriced for everything - the snacks are crazy expensive too. I think they do it because students are desperate and will pay anything when they're on campus studying lol 😅
