why AI humanizers are getting worse lately

I have been thinking about this a lot and I am curious what everyone else’s experience has been.

The more I look into this the more complicated it gets. On one hand I completely understand the arguments for it but on the other hand there are some serious problems that nobody seems to be addressing.

I think the reality is somewhere in the middle. We need to be more nuanced in how we approach this instead of treating it as black and white.

What do you all think? Would love to hear different perspectives on this.

Just went through this exact situation last month. Ended up having to do an oral defense of my paper which was actually fine because I wrote every word myself.

As someone who has taught for 15 years I can tell you that good teachers can tell the difference between AI and student writing without any tools. The tools just create a false sense of certainty.
