can AI detectors detect AI-generated code? tested on 5 platforms
Quick update on the AI detection landscape – things have changed a lot since last month.
I’ve been lurking on this forum for months and finally decided to contribute because I see a lot of misinformation floating around. No shade to anyone but I think we owe it to each other to be accurate about this stuff.
The thing that surprised me most was how different the results were compared to what I expected. I went in thinking one thing and came out with a completely different perspective. I ran my tests across multiple samples to make sure I wasn’t getting fluky results and the pattern held up consistently.
Anyway that’s my experience. Would love to hear what others think, especially if you’ve had different results. Drop a comment!

Log In to ReplyJust went through something similar and I wish I had found this post earlier. The appeal process is way more stressful than it needs to be.
Totally agree with you on that. I had a professor last semester who didn't even know how to interpret Turnitin reports properly.
The part about pricing really resonated with me. I think that's the most overlooked aspect of this whole debate.
This is really helpful, thanks for putting this together! I had a similar experience with Turnitin last semester.
Couldn't agree more. This is exactly why these conversations are important.
Solid analysis. I've been testing Turnitin myself and got similar numbers. The consistency is getting better but still not where it needs to be.
