free textbook resources for fall (updated list)

This might be a hot take but I really think we need to discuss this as a community.

I talked to a few other students about this and we all had similar experiences which makes me think this isn’t just a me problem. If you’re dealing with the same thing definitely drop a comment because I think we can help each other figure this out.

After going through all of this I realized that the conventional wisdom is mostly wrong. Not completely wrong but definitely misleading in some important ways. I’ll break it down step by step so you can see what I mean.
