This is going to be a long post but I think it’s important for everyone here to read.
I spent way too much time on this honestly but I think it was worth it. The key insight is that there’s no one size fits all answer here. What works for one person might not work for another and that’s ok. The important thing is to find what works for you.
What really bugs me is that most of the information out there is either outdated or just wrong. People are making decisions based on stuff from six months ago and the landscape has changed completely since then. That’s why I wanted to put this together.

Really appreciate the objectivity here. Too many reviews are either sponsored or have an agenda.
Totally agree with you on that. I had a professor last semester who didn't even know how to interpret Turnitin reports properly.
This is exactly the kind of content this forum needs. Real data instead of speculation.
