summer motivation is at an all time low help
its literally 11am and i havent left bed. i have stuff to study for but summer brain has TAKEN OVER and i cannot bring myself to care. everyone online seems productive and here i am watching tiktok at 11 in the morning. how do you guys handle summer motivation???

what helped me was having accountability. like i told my friend 'im gonna study 2 hours today' and they checked in on me. sounds silly but having someone know made me actually do it
okay but also some days you're allowed to not be productive? like if you're burnt out from the school year, maybe a few lazy days is what you need. but if it becomes your whole summer then yeah that's a problem
studying with a friend makes a HUGE difference. like youre less likely to ditch if someone is counting on you to show up. find your summer study buddy and you'll actually get stuff done
okay real talk: summer motivation is HARD because there's no external structure. your brain is used to 'i have class at 9am' and now there's nothing. what helped me: pretend you have a class at 9am. like actually act like you do. forced routine saves you
so like... just fake structure until it becomes real? that sounds like it might actually work lol
